I will tell you this. It will be a lifetime experience that your son will never forget in his lifetime. I grew up in a really small town in New York and I had never see a ship before in my life and the first time that I saw the ship it was huge and couldn't believe my eyes. I got to travel around the world on the Big-E and loved every minute of it. I wish and hope the best for your son and tell him and convince him to stay in the military and make a career out of it. I would have retired this coming July if I would have stayed in but I was dumb and nieve of the situation and I wish that I could go back in.
